Outlook Favorites missing and troubleshooting

If your outlook 2007 or 2010 do not show all the favorites try to reset the functionality
outlook.exe /resetnavpane

Else look at this file:
c:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.xml

There's should be some strange character inside.
